Student Visa Lodgement - /Extension

Student Visa
A Student visa provides the opportunity for applicants to study at a CRICOS approved educational institution in Australia. Moreover, there are options for extending the Student visa. This allows students to continue their studies or extend their current visa to address academic matters. The two main subclasses of the Student visa are the 500 Student Visa and the 590 Student Guardian Visa.

Conditions of A Student Visa:
The conditions for a Student visa include being enrolled in a CRICOS approved course of study, having continuous health cover arrangements from the day of arrival to the visa end date, and providing welfare arrangements if under 18 years of age. International students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week or 40 hours per fortnight. The implementation of the Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF) aims to streamline the process for students and ensure the approval of genuine applicants while maintaining immigration integrity. Upon acceptance and payment of tuition fees and health cover, applicants will receive an eCOE (Electronic Confirmation of Enrollment) from the CRICOS registered course institution. This document is crucial as it is reported to the government, and students should keep it safe and note relevant dates.
