South Australia has concluded its Registration of Interest (ROI) applications for skilled migration onshore applicants for the 2023-2024 program year. This marks the closure of submissions for those seeking state nomination visa Australia, with a keen eye on the competitive selection process.
For this financial year, South Australia has received an overwhelming response, accumulating over 12,000 ROIs for a limited allocation of 2,300 nomination places. The selection process for these ROIs will be completed by 30 June 2024.

Applicants who receive an invitation to apply for state nomination are encouraged to promptly submit their applications to ensure timely processing. Conversely, ROIs that remain unsubmitted within the online system will be removed.
In the event an applicant does not receive an invitation for a state nomination visa Australia during this program year, they have the option to submit a fresh ROI for consideration in the following year, 2024-25.
For offshore applicants, the process differs slightly. They can continue to lodge a SkillSelect Expression of Interest (EOI) for South Australia. Successful candidates will receive a direct invitation to apply for state nomination from South Australia.
